The 14th International Staff Training Week will be officially inaugurated on Monday 6 May at 10.00 a.m. in the “Salón de Grados” conference room of the Faculty of Health Sciences, which is located in the Health Sciences Technology Park (PTS) University Campus. More than 30 talks and workshops will be delivered over the course of the week, covering a broad range of topics which have been grouped into four different tracks: international relations, research support services, library services, and IT.
Participants will also have the opportunity to go on guided tours of the UGR’s most emblematic buildings and monuments, such as the Hospital Real— the XVI century building which is now the seat of the Rectorate of the University of Granada, as well as the fascinating “Parque de las Ciencias” Science Museum. An engaging workshop titled ‘Spanish Surival Kit’ will also equip participants with basic Spanish language resources so that they can make the most of their stay in Granada.
The International Staff Training Week will be brought to an end on Friday 10 May with a closing speech by Artur Schmitt, Director for International Strategy, Projects and Networks at the UGR’s Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization. This will be followed by a concert performed by an ensemble from the Orchestra of the University of Granada.
