Inmaculada Marrero Rocha

A Professor (Catedrática) of International Relations at the University of Granada, Inmaculada Marrero Rocha holds a Doctoral Degree in Political Science. She has held the posts of Executive Secretary of the Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies (December 2013-June 2023) and Vice-Rector for Student Services at the University of Granada (May 2007-June 2011).

She undertook postgraduate studies at the University of Geneva's Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) and was a Fulbright scholar at the American Studies Institute of the University of Delaware (USA). In addition, she has professional experience in foreign institutions including the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht (Netherlands), and the Geneva Centre for Security Studies (Switzerland). She has delivered courses, seminars and conferences at Austral University (Chile), the University of Valle (Colombia), Smith College (USA), the Princess Alanoud Foundation (Saudi Arabia), the Center of Studies and Research in Social Sciences (Oujda, Morocco), the Arab Administrative Development Organization, the League of Arab States (Morocco), the University of Cagliari (Italy), and at multiple Spanish universities.  

Prof Marrero Rocha has participated in four research contracts and 34 R&D&I projects, 13 of which were funded by the European Union (H2020, FSP, Erasmus, DG HOME and DG JUST) and the remainder by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Spanish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.
