Epistemology of the Social Sciences: Geography and History. The geographical space (landscape) and its didactic treatment. Historical time and its didactic treatment. People, cultures, institutions and social organization over time (Changes over time). Social Sciences in the Primary Education curriculum: Knowledge of the Social and Cultural Environment. Historical education and training for citizenship and democratic rights. Human activity in the environment: common functions, tasks and trades. Programming by competencies of Social Sciences content. Didactic itineraries and field work.

  • EV-C3 Degree of involvement and attitude of the students manifested in their participation in the consultations, exhibitions and debates; as well as in the preparation of the work, individual or in teams, and in the sharing sessions.
  • EV-C4 Attendance to classes, seminars, conferences, tutorials, group sessions.
  • ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENTS:
  • EV-I1 Written tests: essay, short answer, objective, cases or assumptions, problem solving.

  • The practices to develop in the subject are those that have been collected in the section of the themes.
  • Attendance to practical classes is compulsory and it will be necessary to attend 85% of the hours, being necessary to carry out the different practicals in a satisfactory way to pass the practical part of the subject.

 

Assessment system and criteria, as well as weighting of each of the corresponding activities in the

final mark of ordinary and extraordinary calls:

In both ordinary and extraordinary calls, the evaluation system will be as follows:

  • Attendance to classes, seminars, conferences and tutorials: Up to 15%.
  • Assessment of the work carried out, individually or in group, taking into account the presentation, writing and clarity of ideas, structure and scientific level, creativity, justification of what argues, capacity and richness of the criticism that is made, and updating of the consulted bibliography: 35%.
  • To pass the subject it is necessary to obtain, at least, 50% of the verification of the knowledge of the contents (2.5 / 5), in addition to exceeding 85% of the practical part of the subject (3 / 3.5).

 

ASSESSMENT BY INCIDENTS

In the assessment by incidents, the assessment regulations approved on November 6, 2016 by the Governing Council of the University of Granada will be taken into account. In this way, students who cannot attend evaluation tests that have been assigned a date by the Center, may request it from the Department's management, taking into account accredited assumptions duly.

Evaluación única final

The single assessment students, to pass the subject, both in ordinary and extraordinary calls, will have to verify knowledge of the contents, through an exam: 70% and a practical work 30%.

To pass the subject it is necessary to obtain, at least, 50% of both the work carried out (1.5) and the verification of knowledge of the contents (3.5).

The mark system will be expressed by numerical qualification in accordance with the provisions of article 5 of R.D. 1125/2003, of September 5, which establishes the European credit system and the system of qualifications in university degrees of an official nature and valid in the national territory.

SINGLE FINAL ASSESSMENT. In accordance with current regulations on evaluation and qualification of students at the University of Granada (Approved by the Governing Council in its extraordinary session of May 20, 2013), the student who cannot comply with the continuous evaluation method for work reasons, state of health, disability or any other duly justified cause that prevents them from following the continuous assessment regime, may benefit from a single final assessment. To qualify for the single final evaluation, the student, in the first two weeks of teaching the subject, will request it from the Director of the Department.

Información adicional

In those evaluation tests contemplated in this guide that require or plan to use audio and / or video during its development, this use will be done in accordance with the guidelines established in the instructions and recommendations for the application of the regulations protection of data, personal or home privacy marked by the General Secretary or competent authority of the UGR.

ESCENARIO A (ENSEÑANZA-APRENDIZAJE PRESENCIAL Y TELE-PRESENCIAL)

The tutorial attention will be carried out face-to face, taking into account the established sanitary measures. Through email. By phone. By video call through WhatsApp.

Medidas de adaptación de la evaluación (Instrumentos, criterios y porcentajes sobre la calificación)

The large group classes will be online. They will take place synchronously through Prado and videoconferences, using Meet application through Ugr go. The classes will be recorded so that they can be used by people who, due to circumstances, have not been able to attend the synchronous broadcast.

The seminars will take place face-to face for this; the students will attend class on a mandatory basis with a face mask, which they must bring from home. The security separation established by the health authorities will be maintained. The maximum number of students per seminar will be 20. In the case of scheduled visits and field trips, the conditions established by the different institutions must be specified and accepted in order to comply with the established sanitary measures.

Evaluación ordinaria

The evaluation will be continuous. The activities carried out in class, group work and a final test that will be carried out in small groups will be taken into account, taking into account the measures established by the health authorities.

To pass the subject it is necessary to have passed the theoretical and practical parts.

Consultations and participation in discussions and group activities online: 10%

Verification of the knowledge of the theoretical contents and critical elaboration of them: 50%

Assessment of the work carried out, individually or in groups, taking into account the presentation, writing and clarity of ideas, structure and scientific level, creativity, justification of what it argues, capacity and richness of the criticism that is made and updating of the consulted bibliography: 40%.

Evaluación extraordinaria

The evaluation will be continuous, the following will be taken into account: the activities carried out in class, in groups and a final test that will be carried out in accordance with the measures established by the health authorities. To pass the course you have to pass the theoretical and practical parts.

Verification of the knowledge of the theoretical contents and critical elaboration of them: 60%.

Assessment of the work carried out, individually or in groups, taking into account the presentation, writing and clarity of ideas, structure and scientific level, creativity, justification of what it argues, capacity and richness of the criticism that is made and updating of the consulted bibliography: 40%.

Evaluación única final

It will consist of the delivery of a work and a written test.

The exhibition of group works will be carried out through videoconference with Meet, using the Ugr application. Visits to cultural institutions will be carried out virtually.
