Teaching

Teaching overview

My teaching focuses on assessment and intervention in the domains of language and psychological behavior, with particular emphasis on the training of future professionals in speech‑language therapy and psychology. I bring my research experience into the classroom, demonstrating how probabilistic and graphical models can be especially useful in contexts of language assessment and speech‑language intervention.

I conceive teaching as a process aimed at fostering clinical and scientific reasoning, beyond the mere application of techniques or protocols. From this perspective, I seek to show how clinical and educational decision‑making can be optimized through solid training in scientific methodology, critical interpretation of empirical evidence, and the management of uncertainty, thereby promoting a rigorous, reflective, and evidence‑based professional practice.

Teaching materials & supervision

Part of my teaching activity is supported by materials and resources aimed at fostering scientific reasoning and professional decision‑making in assessment and intervention contexts. I am also actively involved in the supervision of academic projects and applied research in the fields of speech‑language therapy and psychology.

Some teaching materials, methodological resources, and outputs derived from this activity are available through open science repositories, in the form of books and practical workbooks.
