Description of the research activity
Most of the members of this group have their research activity in the study of factorization invariants in numerical semigroups and in the applications of these parameters. It is for this reason that obtaining algorithms for their calculation is one of the main objectives in the works of the members of the group. This task not only remains in the theoretical study, in many of their works there are provided tools and implementations of the algorithms studied. Other lines of study are the characterization of minimum presentations of semigroups and the effective computation of invariants of algebras of semigroups.
