DOWLOAD CONFERENCE PROGRAM AND ABSTRACTS VOLUME

DOWLOAD POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS

Both field trips will visit spectacularly exposed deformation fabrics and structures in high-pressure metamorphic rocks of the Nevado-Filabride complex, the lowest of three principle nappe complexes in the Betic Cordillera. A major detachment demarcated by lenses of mylonitic and brecciated marble unit ("carneoles") separates the Nevado-Filabrides from the overlying Alpjarride Complex and will also be visited. Map and outcrop features will be compared with photomicrographs to discuss structural-metamorphic relationships across a large range of scales.

Bring appropriate footware (trekking boots) and jacket in case of not so good weather.

Oral presentations will have a maximum duration of 30 minutes for invited speakers and 20 minutes for regular speakers including time for discussion.

Posters will be presented and discussed over coffee (morning) and beer/wine breaks (evening). Maximum dimensions: 1m tall x 1,80 wide (landscape)
