Organización del territorio y ejes de intervención en salud mental: una mirada desde la perspectiva psicoambiental

Resumen
Este estudio analiza cómo el Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial (POT) y la Política Pública de Salud Mental (PPSM) del municipio de Madrid, Cundinamarca, integran los componentes conceptuales de la relación persona–ambiente y los determinantes ambientales del bienestar psicológico. Se aplicó un diseño cualitativo de análisis documental comparativo, basado en análisis de contenido y revisión sistemática de documentos oficiales como fuentes que configuran realidades sociales y orientan la acción pública. El estudio se deriva del proyecto de investigación “Proceso de construcción de una propuesta de promoción y prevención en salud mental desde la psicología ambiental: mente y ambiente” . De acuerdo con los resultados, aunque el POT enfatiza la sostenibilidad ambiental y la planificación territorial, y la PPSM aborda factores psicosociales y culturales, ambos carecen de articulación clara entre las dimensiones ambientales y psicosociales. El estudio resalta la necesidad de estrategias integradas que vinculen diseño urbano, políticas ambientales y salud mental, proponiendo intervenciones como corredores ecológicos, infraestructura resiliente y observatorios para monitorear el impacto ambiental en la salud psicológica, con el fin de mejorar el bienestar colectivo y fomentar la sostenibilidad.
