Programme

The conference consists on three symposia:

• IGCP European Regional Meeting,
  
• Geoevents: learning about global changes,
  
• First Meeting of ProGEO Regional Working Group SW Europe (France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain)
  
  Participation is open to every person interested in one or more of these broad topics.
  The meeting encourages the participation of young scientists.

Poster Awards

Three awards will be given for poster presentations. Two will be decided by the Scientific Committee, the third will be decided by polling the participants. These awards will be for posters by Graduate students, and young PhD's, who are the first author of their posters.

• Maestrazgo Cultural Park (geopark), on September 18-19, 2010, sponsored by the Regional Government of Aragon

Social Activities

• Wednesday 15th
  
  • 18:30h Inauguration of the exposition "Fossils of the Murcia Region", organized by the Murcia Paleontological Association
    The exposition may be visited until Sunday 19th
    
  • 20h: Welcome Party
  • 21:15h: Renaissance Music Concert, by the Ensamble La Danserye
• Thursday 16th in the late afternoon: Visit to the Vera Cruz Sanctuary in the Caravaca Castle
  
• Friday 17th - Farewell Party (optional)
