A number of student bursaries are offered for MSc/MPhil/PhD students and Early Stage Researchers only by:

Yahoo! Research: 16 grants of 100€ are offered for the first 16 students who register and do not get any other scholarship of higher amount.
The application must be sent by e-mail to Álvaro Ortega, from the Fundación General UGR-Empresa (), containing personal data, a document proving the student status and the justification of the registration.
MUMIA COST Action: Full reimbursements of registration fee and travel costs for a number of registered participants. More information for the application in this MUMIA web page.

ARIA: The French association in Information Retrieval, ARIA (http://www.asso-aria.org/), has offered 4 grants for PHD students working in the Information Retrieval area for attending ESSIR 2013.
