Once in Granada (see callejero), you can reach the Mecenas building by foot, by taxi or by bus. Keep in mind that parking in this area is very difficult. You can follow the instructions below.

• Arriving on foot: Walk towards the junction of Avenida Fuentenueva with Melchor Almagro street. The main entrance to the Faculty of Science is at this crossroads, surrounded by gardens. Go through the hall of the Faculty (always in the direction in which you entered the building) until you exit the building through the back entrance. Across the street is the Mecenas Building (a three-storey green brick building). From places such as Puerta Real or Corrala de Santiago (in Realejo), it takes about twenty minutes to walk to the Mecenas building; approximately 40 minutes from the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA); about 10 minutes from IRAM; and about 30 minutes from the Parque de las Ciencias.
• Arriving by bus:City bus lines U2, U3, 25, 9, 5, and 12 have stops very close to the Mecenas building (on Avd. Fuentenueva), or on Camino de Ronda, lines 5, 9, 11, and 25. Granada city buses are red. Information about city bus routes. Information about city bus routes.
• Arriving by car: Parking in the university area is very difficult, so we recommend taking the metro, bus, taxi or on foot. The Faculty of Science is accessible by car from the Granada ring road, via the 'Méndez Núñez' exit (number 128).
• Arriving by metropolitan: From the bus station take the tram/metro to Armilla and get off at the Universidad stop. See map complete in: Metropolitano de Granada.
