Galaxy evolution from resolved studies in the nearby Universe

The main goal of this project is to improve our understanding of galaxy evolution through spatially resolved studies of nearby galaxies, focusing on key elements: star formation, stellar populations, and the distribution of metals and dust.

Calar Alto Void Integral-Field Treasury Survey: Data Release 2 and extension to the study of neutral gas and deep imaging (CAVITY+)

The Calar Alto Void Integral-field Treasury surveY, CAVITY, is a legacy project of the Calar Alto Observatory for the coming years. It will generate the first statistically complete data set of galaxies in voids exploring the mass assembly, dark and baryonic, and gas properties of galaxies inhabiting these very low density regions.

Connecting Dust, Gas and Star Formation in Galaxies

The major goal of the present project is to better understand the connection between gas (mainly molecular and ionised gas), dust and star formation.
