NanoMag Lab UGR

About the Group

The NanoMag Group is part of the Department of Applied Physics at the University of Granada. We are a multidisciplinary team comprising physicists, engineers, and biotechnologists working at the intersection of physics and medicine.

Our Mission

We specialize in the study of nanocolloids and complex interfaces. Our expertise covers biomedical applications—such as magnetic hyperthermia, photothermal therapy, and controlled drug release—as well as environmental technologies, including blue energy generation.

Infrastructure

To support our experimental research, we rely on state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, featuring unique devices custom-designed and built by our own research team for electromagnetic stimulation and advanced characterization.

Our Origins: Building the Lab (2021 - 2023)
Empty laboratory room before renovation
Laboratory under construction
Equipment being installed in the laboratory
Completed NanoMag laboratory
