I am Professor of the Department of
Geometry and Topology of the University of Granada and a
member of the Instituto de Matemáticas (IEMath-GR). I work on differential geometry and my research area involves the surfaces with prescribed curvature and partial differential equations related with variational problems on physics. I am a member of the research project "Geometric Analysis" (supported by the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia, MTM2011-22547), of the Group "Análisis geometríco y aplicaciones" (supported by the Junta de Andalucía, P09-FQM-5088) and "Problemas variacionales en Geometría" (supported by the Junta de Andalucía, FQM-325).
