Service Oriented Architecture

I've been working in two projects related with SOA: e-Integr@, where several web service are orchestrated with BPEL; and AmIVital, where I developed a mobile gateway for mobile devices.

Application of Evolutionary Algorithms

I've applied several evolutionary algorithms to different problems:

• Evolutionary Algorithms for document transformation
• Evolutionary Algorithms in Games
• Evolutionary Algorithms in a real VRP problem instance
• Evolutionary Algorithms in Robotics
• Evolutionary Algorithm in mobile devices

Service Oriented Architecture for Evolutionary Algorithms

One of the pillars of my thesis is a service oriented framework for metaheuristics called OSGiLiath. Please refer to the project webpage for more information.

Other bio-inspired algorithms

Finally, I have collaborated with other researchers to support in their works with other bio-inspired algorithms, such as ACOs or Simmulated Annealing.
