The Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation has awarded the 2022 National Research Awards, which are the most important recognition in Spain in the field of scientific research, in the area of Mathematics and Information and Communication Technologies (Julio Rey Pastor award), to Prof Dr Antonio Ros, an outstanding member of our team. Antonio has been recognized for his outstanding scientific career in the area of Geometric Analysis, as well as its impact and the consequent school derived from Granada, which is an international reference. The European Research Council (ERC) has recently published the recipients of ERC Advanced Grants 2021. Among the recipients of the prestigious funding is Prof Dr Franc Forstnerič, a member of our team who works on complex analytic aspects of minimal surface theory, among other subjects. Franc Forstnerič received the ERC Advanced Grant entitled HOLOMORPHIC PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL RELATIONS (HPDR) in the amount of EUR 1,476,375.00. More information here.
The Institute of Mathematics of the University of Granada (IMAG) has been awarded with a María de Maeztu Seal of Excellence in Mathematics by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. More information here.
Our research project has been supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation for the period September 1, 2021 — August 31, 2024. We have been awarded with a Ph.D. grant of the FPI program and a three-years postdoctoral contract.
