Teresa Claramunt fue una heterodoxa en su privacidad ya que se atrevió a transgredir las normas y valores de género. Desarrolló un camino vital lleno de desafíos para cuestionar el modelo de feminidad vigente. Fue también una mujer heterodoxa en su pensamiento feminista que se basó en su experiencia como mujer obrera. Su origen social la alejaba del perfil de las feministas de su tiempo, mujeres cultas y educadas en familias liberales. Teresa Claramunt sentó las bases del feminismo obrerista de base anarquista, antecedente del que se desarrollará en los años treinta del siglo XX.

Teresa Claramunt has dared hersef to violate the accepted gender model and values: so, she was a heterodox woman. For controverting the commonly accepted women’s model she developed a vital and personal way of living which was plenty of challenges. Her feminist attitudes were based on her working class experience and therefore they were also heterodox. Because of her social origin, she was away of the educated and liberal profile of Nineteenth Century Spanish feminist leaders. Teresa Claramunt defined the ideological and political basis of the Anarchist and Working Class feminism. Her contributions were clear antecedents of the 1930’s libertarian feminism.
