-Rhizobium-legume symbiosis: biological nitrogen fixation. -Physiological, biochemical and molecular aspects of salt stress in the symbiosis model Medicagotruncatula-Sinorhizobiummeliloti and Lotus japonicus-Mesorhizobium loti as well as in other grain and forage legumes of agricultural interest. -Analysis of the interactions between microorganisms present in the rhizosphere to favour rhizobium-legume symbiosis. -Characterisation of lupin varieties adapted to climatic and soil conditions in the area of Granada. -Use of the Rhizobium-legume symbiosis for the recovery of degraded or contaminated soils. |
