I-UGR Rankings
The I-UGR Rankings project is the result of a long-standing collaboration between the EC3 Research Group and the Soft Computing Research Group. It offers 12 rankings by fields and 39 rankings by disciplines for all Spanish universities. The first edition of these rankings goes back to 2010 although I started to work on it in its second edition in 2011. It is based on bibliometric data from Thomson Reuters Web of Science and ranks universities according to the IFQ2A Index (more info available in a paper published in Scientometrics).
This ranking was presented at the ISSI Conference 2013 with a follow-up paper in Scientometrics:

Description: International university rankings have become an important tool for research policy makers and university managers in which to base their decisions. However, they present strong methodological and technical limitations that endanger the output of these decisions, threatening disciplinary diversification and neglecting national differences. This thesis analyzes these two specific aspects and propose visualization and science mapping methodologies as well as the use of national university rankings by fields as a means to surpass such limitations.
