Arriving at Granada
From the Granada airport
Granada airport is 20 minutes far from the city center. There is a bus service and taxis available at the airport. If you want to pick the bus, as soon as you pick up your luggage, turn right and get outside the airport building. The bus stop is right there. You might ask the driver to stop at "Avenida de la Constitución", next to "Universidad - Ciencias". The hotel Granada Center is in front of Facultad de Ciencias.
The ticket for the bus costs about 3€ and the taxi should cost around 25€.

From the bus station
Either pick a taxi (around 6€ plus an extra depending on the luggage) or take bus number 10 and get off the bus at "Camino de Ronda 7" stop.
Other transport
There are daily flights to and from Madrid and Barcelona and flights to other spanish and european destinations.
Malaga international airport on the Costa del Sol is about 130 km from Granada (about 1h15 min. by coach) and is connected to most of the major european cities and some american destinations by daily flights.
From Malaga airport, the Alsa company has introduced two new routes linking directly Malaga airport and Granada. The connection to Granada departs from the airport twice a day (11:30 and 18:30). For more information please consult the Alsa website.
Otherwise you must go to Malaga bus station and get a bus to Granada. There is a bus each hour. Once you have arrived, Granada bus station is not in the city center so you can take a taxi to get there or a bus (see the map of city buses).

Weather
In general, the weather in May should be quite pleasant and sunny, with day time temperatures reaching about 25-30ºC. Due to Granada's high altitude and the proximity of the Sierra Nevada, daily low temperatures range from 10°C to 15°C.
