Sandra Rodríguez-Valenzuela

I am Sandra Rodríguez Valenzuela, PhD student in the Software Engineering Department of the High School of Computer Sciences of the University of Granada.

Currently, my research interests are focused in the use of lightweight service platforms in pervasive computing scenarios in the scope of ambient intelligence and Internet of Things.

Some of the main research lines in which I am currently working are:

• Middleware for networks, services and systems integration.
• Ubiquitous and ambient intelligence systems.
• Internet of Things and Smart Cities.
• Software platforms for embedded and mobile devices.
• Concurrency, real-time and distributed systems.
• Model Driven Development.

I collaborate as professor of practice in the subject Concurrent and Distributed Systems, in the second course of the degree on Computer Science at the University of Granada. Here you can found information about my teaching activities and timetables LSI.

I participate in the course Development of mobile applications with Android devices organized by the Escuela de Posgrado of the University of Granada and coordinated from the Software Engineering Department.

I am involved in several scientific dissemination activities, such as the PIIISA project Build and Control your own Robot.
