Workshop Venue

  • Venue

    The workshop will be in Room E26 of the Facultad de Ciencias Economicas y Empresariales in Campus de La Cartuja (red marker in the map below).

  • How to arrive to the Facultad of Ciencias Economicas y Empresariales

    The easiest way to go to the university if by bus (lines 8 or U3), that you can take near to the hotel Catalonia Granada and then stop at Doctor Clavera - Facultad of Ciencias Economicas y Empresariales.

Travel Information

  • Accommodation
  • The hotel for the workshop is Hotel Catalonia Granada (green marker in the map above). Participants can book their accommodation by themselves or through the local travel agency. If you choose the second alternative, please write an email to the travel agent Lorena Jimenez (ljimenez@viajesgenil.es) with your personal information and the arrival/departure dates, and please use "Spain-Japan Meeting on Economic Theory" as the subject of the message. We have blocked several rooms for the participants at the price of 65 euros per night, breakfast included.

  • How to arrive
  • The Granada-Jaén Airport is located 15-20 minutes by car or taxi away from the city centre. It has direct connections with London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Naple, Manchester, Madrid, Barcelona, or Mallorca. The Granada Airport bus line connects with the city centre, with stops in strategic places. The most convenient stop to go to the hotel Constitucion 4. The full journey lasts approximately 45 minutes. Standard fare irrespective of length of journey: 2.90 euros. Check the timetable.

    Alternatively, you can also fly to Malaga Airport (which have way more connections than Granada Airport). There are bus connections between Malaga Airport and Granada every hour or hour and a half.
