Conjugate Plateau constructions in homogeneous spaces

We will present an overview of the construction of surfaces of constant mean curvature in product spaces using the conjugate Plateau technique. We will present some of the results and strategies that have been developed for analyzing the conjugate surface and its embeddedness.
