Join us for the XIX Encuentro de Álgebra Computacional y Aplicaciones in Granada. The meeting will take place in the IMAG, Instituto de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Granada, from May 18th to May 20th.

About

EACA stands for Encuentros de Álgebra Computacional y Aplicaciones (Meetings on Computer Algebra and Applications). These events, whose first edition was held in 1995, are promoted by the Spanish Red Temática de Cálculo Simbólico, Álgebra Computacional y Aplicaciones (EACA Network on Symbolic Computation, Computer Algebra and Applications).

EACA 2026 will be the 19th edition of the EACA conferences (biennial since 2002) and the natural successor of those organized in Santander (1995), Sevilla (1996), Granada (1997), Sigüenza (1998), Tenerife (1999), Barcelona (2000), Ezcaray (2001), Valladolid (2002), Santander (2004), Sevilla (2006), Granada (2008), Santiago de Compostela (2010), Alcalá de Henares (2012), Barcelona (2014), Logroño (2016), Zaragoza (2018), Castellón (2022) and San Lorenzo de El Escorial (2024).

The topics of this event include but are not limited to:

• Effective Methods in Algebra, Analysis, Geometry and Topology.
• Algorithmic Complexity.
• Scientific Computation by means of Symbolic-Numerical Methods.
• Symbolic-Numeric Software Development Analysis.
• Specification, Design and Implementation of Symbolic Computational Systems.
• Applications to Science and Technology.

The purpose of this conference is to provide an appropriate meeting place both for researchers specialized in developing these areas and for those who use them in their own research activities as well as to support and encourage participation of young researchers in these areas.

EACA 2026 will be held in the heart of Granada, from May 18th-20th, at the Institute of Mathematics of the UGR, IMAG.

Payment of the registration fee is accepted exclusively via Bank Transfer to the account of the University of Granada:

The registration fees are as follows:

• Early registration fee: 160 euros. Available until April 3rd, 2026 Extended, April 15th, 2026.
• Late registration fee: 200 euros. Applies from April 16th, 2026.
• Social dinner for accompanying persons: +50 euros each.

To validate your registration, please send an email to eaca2026@ugr.es following these instructions:

• Include "Registration for EACA 2026" in the subject line of the email.
• IMPORTANT (MANDATORY): In the body of the message, please provide the following information:
  • Full name
  • Number of accompanying persons
  • Dietary restrictions
  • Who should the invoice be issued to? (to the participant or to an institution)
  • If the registration fee invoice should be issued to the participant, please provide:
    • ID document number (Passport No. / National ID card)
    • Full fiscal address (Street, City, ZIP/Postal Code, Country)
  • If the registration fee invoice should be issued to an institution, please provide:
    • Institution full name / Legal entity name

Grants

The EACA network offers financial support to younger participants who do not have their own funding, covering accommodation in Corrala de Santiago. during the days of the meeting. Those interested in applying this grant may contact us through the meeting e-mail account eaca2026@ugr.es, explaining the reason for their request in the email. Please, add "Solicitud de beca" in the subject of the message.

Important dates:

• Deadline for grant application: March 2nd 2026.
• Response to grant applications: March 13th 2026.

Submission

Participation in EACA 2026 can be achieved through a talk or a poster. All those conducting research or applications related to the meeting topics are welcome to participate. Contributions must present a recent and original research. Authors submitting a proposal to hold a talk at EACA 2026 must submit an extended abstract of their contribution, no more than 4 pages. In order to present a poster, authors must submit an abstract of 1 page at most. Abstracts must be submitted in English or Spanish.

Important dates:

• Deadline for abstract submission: February 6th 2026.   Extended deadline, February 13th 2026.
• Response to contributions submissions: March 13th 2026.

The LaTeX file templateEACA2026_Apellidos.tex contains a template that should be used to prepare the extended abstract. When submitting this file, please name it "templateEACA2026_Surnames.tex", where "Surnames" must be replaced with the (first) surnames of the authors. For example: templateEACA2026_Arbarello_Smith.tex.

To submit your contribution, please send an e-mail to eaca2026@ugr.es following these instructions:

• Include "Presentation for EACA 2026" in the subject line of the email.
• In the body of the message, provide the following information: full name, email address, institution, type of presentation (talk or poster), title of the presentation, and list of all authors.
• Attach the LaTeX file containing the extended abstract.
