About
J. Alberto Aragon-Correa is Full Professor of Management at the University of Granada, where he holds the Strada Talent & Leadership Chair, the T-Systems Chair of Sustainable Digital Innovation, and the Lactalis Chair of Intrapreneurship, and serves as founding Director of the university's pioneering Talent Incubator initiative. His research examines how companies integrate sustainable innovation into governance and strategic decisions. He has published in the top-tier journals of the management field, including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, and the Journal of Management, among others. He has received the prestigious ONE Academy of Management Distinguished Scholar Award, the first awarded outside the U.S. and Canada, and is consistently ranked among the World's Top 2% of Scientists. His expertise has also informed advisory work with multinational firms and public institutions in more than 15 countries. Alberto currently serves on the steering committee of the European Institute for Sustainability in Management (iESG) and as Co-Editor of the Cambridge University Press book series on Organizations and Natural Environment. Previously, he was Honorary Professor of Management at the University of Surrey and a guest scholar at UCLA, UC Berkeley, and ETH Zurich.

Alberto's academic expertise translates directly into practice through multiple university-based advisory engagements with multinational corporations and public institutions worldwide. He currently leads three collaborations with T-Systems, Strada, and Lactalis - Puleva, multinational corporate leaders in their respective industries, through sustained partnerships that connect cutting-edge research with real-world business challenges. He has also collaborated with other multinational corporate leaders such as Leroy Merlin, Amazon Web Services, and Google, among others.
Beyond large corporations, Alberto has worked with small and medium-sized firms through Chambers of Commerce and business associations, as well as with several regional governments on sustainability and innovation policy.
Furthermore, his research has also been supported through competitive funding: he has served as Principal Investigator on more than 20 research grants awarded by the European Union, national and regional governments, and prestigious private foundations.
