The General Coordination for Entrepreneurship (UGRemprendedora) at the University of Granada is currently running the 8th University Entrepreneurship Competition, which is designed to encourage and boost the entrepreneurship potential of the university community.
The Arqus European University Alliance was publicly presented at an event held at the Hospital Real – the seat of the Rectorate of the University of Granaa, on Friday 18 October. This event followed the formal establishment of the Council of Rectors of the Arqus Alliance — the governing body that will be responsible for developing the general policies, medium and long-term strategies, and primary objectives of the Alliance.

An international team of scientists demonstrates that polyacrylate hydrogels create the support and microenvironment necessary for the growth and maintenance of cartilage cells (chondrocytes), and could be optimal candidates for use in clinical practice. The results have been published in the prestigious journal Acta Biomaterialia.
UGRTerm, the Spanish-English language resource that was launched in 2018, contains the official nomenclature of the University of Granada and a considerable number of terms and expressions related to research and higher education. It also features terminology from spheres such as the social sciences and humanities; law; economics and statistics; information, communication and public events; public infrastructure; and politics, government and administration. The resource now contains over 40,000 terms.
The University of Granada is pleased to announce that our 15th International Staff Training Week (STW) will be held from 1 to 5 July 2019. Over 140 administrative officers and managers from our partner universities will take part in the STW through the Erasmus+ Programme, with participants from 30 non-EU countries.
ARQUS, the European University Alliance that brings together the universities of Bergen, Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, Padova and Vilnius, has been endorsed by the European Commission as part of the group of pioneering Alliances in the European Universities Initiative.
