Dr.Jose Antonio Naranjo Rodriguez obtained his Doctoral Degree in Science from the University of Granada, where he is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Didactics of Experimental Sciences. He is a member of the “Science education and sustainable development” research group. He is also the author of numerous scientific articles which have been published in prestigious national and international journals and has supervised a total of ten doctoral theses. He has participated in 12 research, teaching innovation and cooperation projects.
Moreover, he has been awarded an honorary degree from the University of Mendoza (Argentina). Since 1992, he has held several important positions, such as member of the University Senate and Governing Council, Deputy Secretary of the UNESCO Centre in Andalusia, Vice-Dean of Infrastructure and Economic Affairs at the Faculty of Education, Director of the Vice-Rectorate for Student Services and Employability Secretariat, Director of the Department of Didactics of Experimental Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Education, President of the Conference of Deans of Education in Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla, and currently holds the position of President of the Spanish Conference of Deans of Education.
