The UGR launches 2019-2020 edition of its Mentor Programme

At the University of Granada, we feel that diversity provides a great opportunity for creating rich learning environments and promoting integration. The UGR Mentor Programme (in Spanish: Programa Mentor), which was officially launched in 2012, is a student-oriented initiative designed to help our international community with their cultural, academic and social integration.

2nd International Arts Festival (BAG) under way at the UGR

The main objective of BAG, which is run by the Faculty of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization, is to promote and publicise the artistic research carried out by students and teaching staff on national and international mobility programmes at the UGR in 2018-2019.

4th session of the international lecture series ‘Narratives of Europe, Narratives for Europe'

The fourth session of the international lecture series ‘Narratives of Europe, Narratives for Europe’ will be screened live today Tuesday 23 April at the UGR’s Faculty of Law. This interactive lecture series brings together renowned experts and scholars from the Coimbra Group member universities, and aims to explore the master narratives accompanying each EU country’s stance within the European Union and their visions on European integration.

2nd International Researcher Development Week under way at the UGR

The 2nd International Researcher Development Week (IRDW) will take place from 25 to 29 March at the University of Granada. The main objective of the event, which is funded through the Erasmus+ Programme, is to foster the internationalization of research and knowledge-transfer processes. It offers visiting researchers a shared space in which to network with UGR research groups, thereby paving the way for new forms of joint collaboration.

The UGR, European Parliament and European Commission to hold joint conference on European project

The conference “Europa, ¿para qué?” (‘Europe: what for?’), which has been jointly organised by the Vice-Rectorate for Student Services and Employability, European Parliament and European Commission, will be held today Tuesday 12 March at the UGR’s School of Civil Engineering.
