The University of Granada, through its General Coordination for Entrepreneurship (UGRemprendedora), will participate in the Erasmus+ BIO-ALL (BIOHEALTH Gear Box Alliance) project, developing a wide range of activities designed to promote and consolidate entrepreneurial initiatives in the biotechnological and health spheres over the next three years.

The BIO-ALL project, which will be coordinated by the University of Beiro Interior (Portugal), has been awarded approximately one million euro in funding and will be jointly carried out by 13 public and private institutions from Portugal, Italy, Holland and Spain. The Health Sciences Technology Park (PTS) Foundation in Granada and OnGranadaTech will also participate in the project.

The programme will tackle pressing issues such as the need for more innovative and multidisciplinary approaches in higher education learning environments, fostering the development of entrepreneurial skills and competencies, and facilitating the exchange and co-creation of educational materials and knowledge.

BIO-ALL will enhance the level of collaboration between the primary actors in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, including universities (students, teaching staff and researchers), companies, incubators, and investors, who will collectively offer postgraduate courses and international acceleration programmes. These actions will better equip third-level institutions to address current and future needs in the biotechnology and health sectors.

The General Coordination for Entrepreneurship (UGRemprendedora) will contribute to the project by developing international training programmes in entrepreneurship for the biotech and health sectors, as well as conducting an in-depth analysis of good practices and current needs in these areas. They will also run diverse events on entrepreneurship in Granada, along with professional training courses for the staff from the participating bodies and institutions.
