The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Granada is pleased to announce that the call for proposals for the first edition of the BAG Programme — a cultural activity aimed at mobility and exchange students completing studies in Granada during the 2017-2018 academic year — is now open. The Festival will bring incoming mobility students together to develop and exhibit their artistic works and projects.
The main objective of BAG is to support and publicise the artworks of students from other national and international universities who are completing studies at the University of Granada through its diverse range of mobility programmes. The Festival includes three main events; a call for exhibition proposals, a training workshop, and an exchange of experiences and ideas between students.
Participants can submit works or projects in any artistic medium (painting, illustration, sculpture, photography, installations, graphic work, performance, video art, land art, etc.) which, if selected, will be exhibited in interior and exterior spaces at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Granada.
The BAG Programme, conceived by the Faculty of Fine Arts, has been organised in collaboration with the Vice-Rectorate for Outreach, the Vice-Rectorate for Student Services and Employability, and the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization of the University of Granada. The Student Council of the Faculty of Fine Arts and the "OnGoing" Student Society will also support the implementation of the project.
The closing date for applications is 10 December 2017.
