The University of Granada will launch this year’s edition of the 3 Minute Thesis competition on Wednesday 20 February. Originally conceived and set in motion by the University of Queensland in 2008, the contest has since spread to far-flung corners of the globe and is now held in over 200 universities worldwide.

Ninety per cent of tickets and receipts — those whose ink fades after some time because they are made of ‘thermal paper’ — contain bisphenol A (BPA).
