Companies and organisations will conduct interviews and explain the latest recruitment process techniques

The fifth edition of the UGR’s Employment Forum, organised annually by the Employment Agency of the Vice-Rectorate for Student Services and Employability, will be held from 13 to 17 November. The Employment Forum aims to bring the labour market closer to the university community, promoting activities that equip students with the skills required to find employment in increasingly complex labour markets.

The 2017 Employment Forum will put students and graduates from Andalusian universities in direct contact with major national and international employers. It will provide university graduates with the opportunity to receive information and advice from HR staff on job offers related to their academic and professional backgrounds, as well as information on key recruitment techniques and strategies currently being used by leading employers.

The event will also raise awareness about the current and ever-changing needs of companies and organisations in today’s labour markets. Moreover, participants will have the chance to learn about the most highly prized professional skills in different sectors, learning to design their own unique professional pathways.

Diverse companies and organisations at the Employment Forum will conduct interviews, recruiting candidates in line with their respective fields of activity. This year will also see the participation of significant national and international companies such as MAPFRE, Uteach, Babé, Coca-cola, T-Systems, Everis, Accenture, Financial Force, Garrigues, Aloha Mental Arithmetic, Meliá Hotels International, Lactalis Puleva, Nationale Nederlanden, Construcciones Otero, Leroy Merlin, the Ministry of Defence, IKEA, SATEC, onGranada, Sorigué, Cosentino, FEGRADI, FSC Inserta/Fundación ONCE and Cáritas.
