I am the principal investigator of the MEC-Feder research project Isoperimetric inequalities in metric measure spaces MTM2007-61919 and a member of the Junta of Andalucía research groups FQM 325 and P06-FQM-01642. I am currently working on variational problems related to the area functional in sub-Riemannian manifolds, with special interest in the Heisenberg groups.
