We are proud of announcing the 7th Young
Researchers BNCT meeting which will be hold in Granada, Spain in September
2013. This continues those successful meetings previously hold in Taiwan
(2011), Mainz (2009), Birmingham (2007), Pavia
(2003), Studsvik/Otaniemi (2001) and Petten (1999).
The series of young researchers’ meeting is a great
opportunity for sharing new problems and results, and learn from other groups
of this multidisciplinar community.
The topics of the meeting will include (but not
limited to): Physics and Engineering (reactor neutron sources,
accelerator-based neutron sources, Monte Carlo simulations, dosimetry
and treatment planning, microdosimetry, …), Chemistry and Pharmacology (compounds for BNCT, in
vitro and in vivo studies, …) and Clinical trials (brain tumors,
head and neck, others, synergies with other therapies, …)
Registration will be opened soon.
The
structure of the conference will include oral and poster presented by young
BNCT researchers. In addition to these there will be some lectures from senior
BNCT scientists.
The call
for abstracts will be opened soon.
