About us
The
Neuroplasticity and Learning team is formed
by researchers interested in learning theory and psychobiology.
We all share our concern for investigating the experience-dependent
plastic changes in brain circuitry which support long-lasting
changes in behaviour. Our research efforts are aimed not only
to gain insight into the neural basis of learning but also
to develop biologically acceptable theoretical models of learning.
Since
neural plasticity underlying learning and memory occurs in
a changing brain throughout the life span and can be altered
by injury, the group is also interested both in a wide developmental
approach and also in exploring functional recovery after brain
damage and aging.
