Research

I have conducted my research in Machine Learning and Bayesian Inference. Specifically, I have focused my work in Bioinformatics and Geoscience.

Fellowships and projects

After finishing my Bachelor' degree, I joined to the MATRAS research group as a Reserach Assistant to work on the following project of the Spanish goverment.

Later, I joined to the Sistemas, Señales y Ondas (Systems, Signals and Waves) research group to start my PhD studies, funded by the Excellence Project of the Andalusian goverment program showed next.

Currently, I hold a postdoctoral postion at the Haematopoietic Stem Cell Laboratory of the University of Cambridge.

PhD Internships

I have reinforced my technical and experimental profile by doing research internships to multidisciplinary laboratories from ownered Universities.

During my PhD, I visited the Computational Genomics and Proteomics Lab from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) for nine months. This intership was partially funded by the Valero Energy Corporation.

My research activities as a PhD student at UTSA was supervised by Dr. Yufei Huang, Full Professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of UTSA, Adjunct Professor of the Greehey Children's Cancer Institute and the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA).
