BIOGRAPHY

Full Professor at the Department of Didactics and School Organization of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Granada.

I have been teaching since 1994 at both diploma and degree level, in the subjects of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Hearing and Language, Special Education, Music Education, Physical Education, Foreign Language, Social Education, Psychopedagogy and Pedagogy. From my first year until today I have been assigned the subject of Practicum and/or its coordination. Since 2002 I have been continuously involved in the Postgraduate course.

As a researcher, I started with a scholarship for Teaching and Research Staff from the General Knowledge Program (FPD+I) of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Junta de Andalucía in 1995, and continued my career path with the doctoral thesis entitled "The supervisory task in the training of teachers in the stages of Early Childhood and Primary Education: a reflective model of supervision", which has given meaning to my personal line of research, which has always been linked to "Initial Training". As a member of the FORCE research group (School-based Teacher Training), I have been involved in competitive research at both national and regional level. I am currently member for the FYDAD research group (Training, development and teaching activities).

At an individual level, I have directed the Andalusian Project for the Training of University Teachers entitled "Training in the evaluation function through the use of learning folders", approved by the Unit for the Quality of Andalusian Universities; as well as being the main researcher of the subproject entitled "Teaching methodology and evaluation of the Practicum", integrated in the Project of Excellence HUM 1346. In addition, I have participated as a researcher in around twenty competitive projects at the national level (I+D, CIDE) and I currently coordinate the work package “Methodology Design, Materials and Resources” belonging to a European project that is funded by Erasmus+: Higher Education-International Capacity Building.

My publications consist of approximately ten books, twenty book chapters, ten entries in encyclopedias and encyclopedic dictionaries and around fifty papers published in journals such as Scientific Report (JCR), Interactive Learning Environments (JCR), Revista de Educación (JCR), Universitas Psychologica (JCR), The European Journal of Social Work (JCR), Revista Complutense de Educación (Scopus), Revista de Investigación Educativa (Scopus), Pedagogika (Scopus), Electronic Journal of Research in Educational Psychology (Scopus), NASSP Bulletin (Scopus), The Open Sports Sciences Journal (Scopus), Bordón (Scopus), Education Policy Analysis Archives (Scopus), Revista Profesorado (Scopus), Pedagogía Social-Revista Internuniversitaria (Scopus), Revista Electrónica Interuniversitaria de Formación del Profesorado (Scopus), Publicaciones (Scopus), Perspectiva Educacional (Emerging Source Citation Index), Ensayos (ESCI), Cuadernos de Pedagogía, Píxel-Bit and Enseñanza-Anuario Interuniversitario de Didáctica.
