Research and projects
Memory supports many complex cognitive skills and very especially those related to language. Our research has focused in three interconnected lines: First, we are interested in understanding complex skills such as translation and interpreting and how working memory supports several aspects of them. Second, we have aimed to understand the nature of Working Memory functions such as inhibition and updating. Third, we have explored individual differences in memory control in both individual that differ in age and in individuals with altered memory functions.
