Multivariate Approximation and Interpolation with Applications in CAGD

ALMUÑÉCAR, SEPTEMBER 10-14, 2001

The Workshop will be held at the Helios Hotel in the resort city of Almuñécar (a subtropical area of the south of Spain, near Granada). It is the sixth of a series starting in 1986 in Santiago (Chile) and followed in Duisburg (Germany) in 1989, Santiago in 1992, Montecatini (Italy) in 1995 and Eilat (Israel) in 1998. As has been the tradition, the topics covered will be Multivariate Polynomials, Splines, Radial Functions, Wavelets, CAGD, ... Participation in the Workshop is by invitation of the Organizing Committee, and is limited to 60/70 people.
