Communications

Those interested in presenting papers should submit an abstract (500 words) to the address musica@ugr.es before April 15, 2012. The issue of communication must fall within one of the four thematic lines of the conference:

1) Music, Thinking and Politics in Nineteenth-Century Spain
2) Music around 1812: Repertoire and their Interpretation
3) Popular music and Nationalisms around 1812
4) Interdisciplinary approaches: Theater, Cinema, Fine arts and Literature.

After receiving the proposals, the Scientific Committee will report on their acceptance to the authors. Each caller will have a maximum of 10 minutes for the presentation of their work. After the conference, callers must submit within 15 days the full text of their work so that, once accepted by the scientific committee, they can be published.
