Dr. Juan Manuel Cuerva Carvajal  


 

 

Juan M. Cuerva nació en Granada en 1969. Se licenció en Ciencias Químicas por la Universidad de Granada (1992) y obtuvo el titulo de Doctor en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1997) dirigido por el Prof. A. Echavarren, becado por la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid. En 1997 fue contratado como Profesor Asociado en el Departamento de Química Orgánica de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. En 1998 obtuvo una plaza de Profesor Ayudante en la Universidad de Granada, y finalmente promocionó a Profesor Titular en Química Orgánica en 2003. Desde Enero de 2010 dirige el grupo de investigación FQM-013 "Química Organometálica y Electrónica Molecular". El Prof. Cuerva ha sido científico invitado en la Universidad de Bonn.
