The workshop is organised by the members of the research project “El Significado y los procesos pargmáticos primarios y secundarios”, BFF2003-07141, in collaboration with the Department of English and German Philology (University of Granada) and the Department of Philosophy (University of Granada). 

 

The aim of this workshop is to gather a group of discussion on “Explicit communication”. The main speaker, Robyn Carston, will give two talks during the three days of the workshop. These talks are followed by an open discussion among the invited speaker and the rest of the participants. A distinctive feature of this workshop is the reduced number of participants that favours the possibility of getting profit of the discussion. Apart from the lectures by the invited speaker, other speakers will present their works dealing with topics related to Carston’s work.
