Quantification method of secondary amines through the formation of heavy metal ditiocarbamates in mixtures dioxane-water

Abstract It is provided a method to quantify secondary amines through the formation of dithiocarbamates of Cu (II) and Ni (II) in mixtures dioxane-water to the 94%. It has been applied to the determination of (alfa-[buthylamino-methyl-]4-hydroxibenzilmethanol and (alfa-[ethylamino-methyl-]3-hydroxibenzilmethanol, both amines of known sympathycomimetic action.
