Welcome to this page devoted to the life and work of the Yiddish writer Hinde Esther Singer Kreytman, whose nome de plume was Esther Kreytman, elder sister of the 1978 Nobel Prize of Literature, Isaac Bashevis Singer and the well-known novelist Israel Joshua Singer.

Our effort intends to be a tribute to Esther and a recognition of her work. Her struggle for making her feminine voice heard must be remembered.

This page intends to be a comprehensive repository of information about her life, her work and the studies and research published on her work.

We need your contributions to achieve this page to be as much complete as possible. There are still lots of silences to be filled in.
