Application period for UGR bachelor's degrees now open (2018-2019)

We are pleased to announce that the first application period for UGR bachelor’s degrees, which is open exclusively to international students, has now commenced. It is important to note that there are three separate application periods between 1 March and 24 September 2018, which are open to both national and international applicants. The first call for applications will end on 2 April 2018 and the second will open on the 22 June 2018.

The UGR offers an extensive range of world-class training programmes in all fields of knowledge and with a clear international vocation. In the academic year 2018-2019, the UGR will offer 98 bachelor’s degrees (including a varied selection of international double degrees). With a total community of 60,000 students, approximately 10% of our undergraduate students and 25% of our postgraduate students are international, making our institution a truly cosmopolitan and multicultural university.

UGR bachelor’s degrees consist of 240 ECTS credits, equivalent to four academic years, unless otherwise stated.

In the academic year 2018/2019 the UGR will teach approximately 98 bachelor’s degrees (including a varied selection of international double degrees), 105 master’s degree programmes; 18 of which in international partnerships, as well as 28 doctoral programmes in three interdisciplinary doctoral schools.

4. Language learning opportunities

As a student at the UGR you can learn Spanish and other languages alongside the 10,000 local and international students who enrol each year on courses offered by the UGR’s Modern Languages Centre, Confucius Institute (Chinese), “Russkiy Mir” Russian Centre and “al-Babtain” Chair in Arab Studies.
