| Ana-Isabel Guerra Short CV: |
After finishing my studies in Economics at the
Universidad de Salamanca in 2002, I spent one year doing a Mater in Economic
Sciences at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). It was there and then
that I decided to orientate my professional life to the academic world. In 2005,
I was awarded a Ph.D scholarship by the Spanish Government. In 2009 I finished
my Ph.D in Economics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The dissertation
title was “A General Equilibrium Assessment of the Rebound Effect”.
My research interests are: Energy and
Environmental Economics, Fiscal Policies Analysis, Regional Economics, General
Equilibrium Models, Interindustrial Analysis and Computational Economics.
I have also held a visiting research post at
the Fraser of Allander Institute
(Strathclyde University, in Glasgow, UK) from September to December 2008
collaborating actively in some of their projects, especially the ESCR project
on Energy Rebound Effects in the UK (ref: RES-061025-0010, project Director:
Prof. Karen Turner), working with UK data and exchanging research experiences. In
June 2011 I visited the School of Panning and Public Policy at Rutgers University
invited by Prof. Michael Lahr. For this academic
course (2014-2015), I will visit the Department of Global
Economics and Management at Gröningen University (The Netherlands).
After visiting the department of Economics of
the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville, Spain) from 2010-2011, I am now an Assistant Professor
at the Universidad de Granada at the Department of International Economics, in Spain. I am a
member of the Research Group in Computation and Simulation at the Universitat
Autònoma de Barcelona. Since 2011, I am a member of the Editorial Board of the
Review of Regional Studies.
