Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for non European Students (Category A)

In the framework of Erasmus Mundus, the MUNDUSFOR Master will have Erasmus Mundus Scholarships for non-EU students who did not have a stay in an EU-country for more than one year over the last five years (called category A students).

This scholarship is only available for those students who have not carried out their main activities (Studies, Work, etcetera) in Europe for more than 12 months in the last five years. The selected student, will receive a scholarship of totally 42000 under the conditions stablished by the Erasmus Mundus Program. (See Erasmus Mundus Program Guide)

The application for an ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarship for non European students (Category A and B) should be submitted with the application form for the master course before February every year following the application timetable. The application to an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is done through the classical student´s application procedure of MUNDUSFOR. (See Application)

The application for Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (Category A) for the MUNDUSFOR programme 2011-2013 will be open from November 15th, 2010 until January the 10th, 2011.



Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for European Students and non European Students (Category B)

In the framework of Erasmus Mundus II starting from the academic year 2010, Europe will offer new scholarships that are called category B. These scholarships are devoted for European students and also for third country students who have stayed for more than 12 months in the EU countries mentioned on the Erasmus Mundus website.

The selected student will receive a grant of totally of 20,000€ for the 2 years, distributed as explained in the program guide of Erasmus mundus. The application to an Erasmus Mundus scholarship is done through the classical student application procedure of MUNDUSFOR. (See Application)

The application for Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (Category B) for the MUNDUSFOR programme 2011-2013 will be open from November 15th, 2010 until January the 10th, 2011.


It is Important to have account (For Category A and B)

It should be noted that, while the Category A scholarships should be considered as full scholarships covering all necessary costs of the student during his/her study period in Europe, Category B scholarships have to be considered as a financial contribution to the students costs.


Erasmus Mundus Students Without Scholarship for European Students and non European Student

European students and non European students can apply to be granted a place to take the master course without an ERASMUS MUNDUS Scholarship.

The application to an Erasmus Mundus Students without Scholarship is done through the classical student´s application procedure of MUNDUSFOR during the application timetable for each period. (See Application)

There are economic aids for students without Erasmus Mundus scholarships:
  • The Spanish Ministry of education grants aids to cover the mobility of the students.
  • All the universities of the consortium grant Erasmus aids.
  • The Spanish international Cooperation Agency grants aids for non European students.
  • The Spanish government grants scholarships (to cover fees) for unemployed professionals.


None of these scholarships is guaranteed by the consortium, so it's higly recommended not to depend 100% on them.


For European Students with the Best Academic Records

Those European students can apply for the awards granted by the consortium that gives registration fees free for those students with the best academic records. For this, the students have to present their application form and a copy of their academic records.
